The Riverside Co. Sheriff's Office is seeking to fill immediate vacancies for multiple Crime and Intelligence Analyst I positions throughout Riverside County. The incumbents will perform entry level work involved with assisting law enforcement staff in the analysis of criminal activity; collect, compile, prepare, and evaluate statistical data; and perform other related duties as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

Graduation from an accredited college or university with an associate’s degree or foreign studies equivalency in crime analysis, intelligence analysis, criminal justice, administration of justice, statistics, public administration, or other closely related field.

Bachelor's degree is highly desired.

Experience:

Six (6) months of work experience in a Crime Analysis Unit, Crime Prevention Unit or Law Enforcement Unit, in the collection, analysis and presentation of complex crime data.

Other Requirements:

License/Certificate: Possession of a valid California Driver's License is required.

Possession of a Certified Crime and Intelligence Analyst (CCIA) Certificate issued by an accredited college or university or completion of CCIA program coursework is highly desired.
