This presentation will be given by Steve Fortney, an ATF Intelligence Research Specialist who has been working for the ATF, Los Angeles Field Division, for 19 years. His work has focused on major case support as well as Crime Gun/ eTrace training throughout Southern California, and now includes working with local agencies to maximize the use and effectiveness of the National Integrated Ballistics Network (NIBIN).

This class is designed for Investigators who are involved with firearm recovery/trafficking cases, Property/Evidence Technicians or Firearms & Toolmarks Examiner personnel who would make the Crime Gun entries into CLETS or eTrace, or Crime Analysts who would like to learn more about using Crime Gun Intelligence to support agency operations.
